Celtic Session, Winter 2024-2025

November 3, 2024 – April 27, 2025
3 pm – 5 pm

Every Sunday this winter, I am joining Eilidh Campbell and a bunch of musician friends—on fiddles, flutes, whistles, bodhrans, mandolins, banjos, guitars—at public house/cafe Eli & Trix to play Celtic music round a table in the back. 3-5pm, downtown Mahone Bay just across from the Independent. Please come for a listen—and an ale, latte, tea, hot cider, soup or sweet. This session will go through the winter to brighten the darker months. We hope to fill Sunday afternoons with joy and good cheer!

Book Booth at BOOKTOBERFEST 2024

I am very excited to take my new chapbook, NELLIE: An Imagined History, with me to Booktoberfest 2024. I’ll be at Table B16 in the book fair, sharing a table with Carol Bruneau. I’m also very excited to meet the other 59 authors at the festival, and all the presses. I’m also leading a workshop, “Magic for Writers,” from 3-4pm, in the BMO Community Room (2nd floor of the Library). It will be a wonderful day — hope to see you!
