LITERARY TEACHING BACKGROUND

Tricia teaches creative writing workshops and literature study groups mostly via Zoom, from her home studio in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada (see WORKSHOPS & STUDY GROUPS for upcoming offerings and registration information).

She teaches a literature study group each winter through Soapstone Writers in Portland, Oregon, USA. (Via Zoom. Click on the link to find details and registration information.)

Tricia teaches for community organizations including the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia (Halifax, NS), Spot of Poetry (Lunenburg, NS), Soapstone Writers (Portland, OR), and in the past, The Attic (Portland, OR)

She has been an instructor at four USA universities: the University of Maryland, George Mason University (VA), Oregon State University, and Portland State University (OR).

She holds an MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from George Mason University.
